Just a Bit About Me
Hey y'all! I'm Morgan, a second year medical student in NYC!
I went into college knowing that I wanted to be a physician, but I didn't have a mentor...so I had to figure it all out solo.
I was able to self study and crush the MCAT (with a 519), then I applied to medical school during the 2021-2022 application cycle. I applied to 16 schools, received 14 interview invities, and was accepted to 12 schools. On top of that, I received multiple full-tuition and full cost of attendance scholarships.
I am so thankful that a girl from South Carolina like me is now living out her dream of becoming a physician, and contributing to the 2% of physicians that are Black females.
BUT I don't want to do it alone. My goal is to increase diversity in medicine and guide you on your journey to becoming a physician. LET'S DO IT!

2. Create
After you review the course content, utilize the brainstorming topics, spreadsheets, and downloadables to work on your application, such as creating your school list, drafting your personal statement, and more.
3. Collaborate
Once you feel strongly about components of your application, connect with other students in the course via our exclusive community group and exchange application materials to revise. You can also ask me any of your questions here!
"Words can't express how much I appreciate all of your help and advice! It made a world of a difference in my application."
I’ve received multiple compliments from interviewers on my personal statement. Your personal statement, activities, and secondary reviews and your secondary course was beyond helpful.
When I first began receiving secondaries, I immediately felt very overwhelmed. It felt very daunting for me to have to write tons of essays in a very short time period and they all be well-written. I didn’t know where or how to begin and your breakdown of how to make the spreadsheet and find the common themes and start with those was very helpful. It made the task seem a bit less daunting and honestly I was able to use bits and pieces from those key essays to write most of my secondaries. The secondary essay bank was extremely helpful. It was nice to see different approaches to the same essay question and to gain an understanding of what the essay should convey. I also just enjoyed reading the essays before I started writing as it would help me get in the writing spirit.
- Christina W. (2023-2024 applicant)
Received 20 interview invites and accepted to 12 medical schools (and counting!!) including Emory, Northwestern, University of Chicago, and more!
